These Homeopathic medicines have been designed to give general self help for parents to give for some of the most common infant disorders. The kit does not aim to cover all the problems you will encounter.

These medicines have been developed by Roy and Ros Hayes at Meher clinic over twenty years of practice and many parents have found them to be helpful with their children. The kits are individually prescribed based on family genetic patterns and health conditions as well as that which is known about baby at time of prescribing.

There are specific homeopathic remedies that could be needed to treat other ailments that are not addressed by the kit. For example the cough formula in the kit may help a loose or productive cough however baby may have a croupy/dry and need a specific remedy.

We advise you to see your medical practitioner if the condition does not improve or the symptoms are severe or causing you concern.

HOMEOPATHIC MEDICINES INCLUDED IN THE KIT:-

BABY 1 - BABY’S FIRST MEDICINE

FOR: During extensive trials in India by Prof.P. Banerji this remedy has been found to help develop babies immune systems and minimise hereditary defects if given during the first two months after birth. Baby 1 is also the 1st medicine to give for any infection including colds and ear infection. Give within first 24 hours.

DOSE: Give 2- 3 Drops or Pills twice a week- say on a Thursday and Sunday for baby’s first 2 months.
If Infection: 1-2 doses at start of any infection.

BABY 2 - GENERAL BABY FORMULA

FOR: Teething, irritability, insomnia, colic, earache, crying, green diarrhea while teething.

DOSE: 2-3 Drops or Pills 1-2 hourly to treat above or
2-3 times a day to keep baby happy. Best to put in mouth, also will work if rubbed onto forehead.

Mum and Baby’s best friend.
Calming for mother to take as well.

BABY 3 - VOMITING/COUGH FORMULA

FOR: This medicine has a special affinity with children’s coughs & wheeze to the age of three. It is also a general vomiting remedy for all ages.

DOSE: 2-3 Drops or Pills 2-3/day plus every 10-20 minutes in acute. Place in baby’s mouth.

BABY 4 – EAR & NOSE FORMULA

FOR: Ear infections and glue ear, stuffy nose, ripe head colds, nasal infections with bland or yellow or green nasal discharges.

DOSE: 2-3 Drops or Pills 1-2 hourly to treat above then 2-3 times a day when symptoms less severe. Place in baby’s mouth.

BABY 5 –NAPPY RASH/ALLERGIES

FOR: Nappy rash, rashes in general and allergies.
Treats stings and bites. Place in baby’s mouth.

DOSE: 2-3 Drops or Pills 2-3 times a day to treat rashes/allergies. If sting /bite give orally & apply drops or pills dissolved in water to the site - 5-10 min to start then hourly.

BABY 6 - MILK INTOLERANCE/BONES

FOR: This medicine helps reduce milk intolerance. It also helps strengthen bones/teeth and helps immunity.

DOSE: 2-3 Drops or Pills 1-2 / day for one month and then once every other day for the above conditions. To generally strengthen baby start at 2 months and give
until 1-2 years of age.

BABY 7 - DIRRAHEA & COLIC FORMULA

FOR: All types of diarrhea, colic from any cause (milk intolerance, viruses etc.).

DOSE: 2-3 Drops or Pills 1-2 hourly to treat above in acute. Place in baby’s mouth. Can be alternated with ‘Baby’s General formula’. If vomiting alternate with Vomiting/Cough Formula.

BABY’S CONSTITUTIONAL MEDICINE

FOR: This medicine is given to help boost the development and general health of baby.
DOSE: 2-3 Drops or Pills 1/week for twelve doses.
